Apostille Service

WHAT IS AN APOSTILLE?

An apostille is a certification used for international documents to verify their authenticity and legitimacy in countries that are part of the Hague Convention. Essentially, it's a standardized form of authentication that ensures documents like birth certificates, marriage licenses, and diplomas are recognized as valid in foreign countries without the need for further authentication.

If you know what country your documents are going to, getting them Apostilled is easy. Priority Mobile Notary LLC can take the guesswork out of obtaining an Apostille certificate for your legal documents.

We can assist with state-level documents. You can only get an Apostille certificate issued from a state-level Secretary of State office in the state where your document was issued or notarized in:

✅ Personal Documents – Birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, death certificates, and adoption forms.
✅ Educational Documents – Diplomas, transcripts, and official letters verifying academic accomplishments.
✅ Business Documents – Articles of incorporation, corporate bylaws, patents, and documents related to international business transactions.
✅ Legal Documents – Powers of attorney, affidavits, court orders, and other legal paperwork.
✅ Notarized Documents – Any notarized document can be authenticated with an Apostille for use in foreign countries.

We can also assist with federal-level documents. Federal documents can only be Apostilled at the U.S Department of State in Washington D.C.

THE APOSTILLE PROCESS

The apostille process involves several steps to ensure a document is properly authenticated for international use.  Here’s a general overview:

1. Determine the Document Type

Some documents must first be notarized before they can be apostilled. We will review the document to assess eligibility.

2. Notarize the document (if required)

If the document is not already issued by a government agency (such as a birth certificate), it must be notarized by a commissioned notary public. We will notarize the document, if needed.

3. Submit to the Appropriate Authority for certification

4. Receive the Apostille Certification

Once processed, the document will have an official apostille certificate attached, verifying its authenticity for use in a foreign country. We will deliver the completed Apostille package to you.
